According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is shortly adding video messages, taking another cue from competing apps. It was discovered in WhatsApp beta versions 2.23.8.19 for Android and 23.6.0.73 for iOS, indicating that both platforms would soon have the capability. You can use this tool to record a short video for up to 60 seconds and send it as a message.
By clicking the microphone symbol in a chat, you can switch between sending audio and video messages. Just like in Telegram. To record or switch between audio and video, hold down the button.
The same holds true for WhatsApp on iOS. You need to click on video messages to view them larger and hear the audio; they will show up as a huge circle in your chat. To use this function, WhatsApp must be upgraded to the most recent version on both ends.
You can be sure that video communications are genuine and not forwarded or pre-recorded videos because they are captured in real-time.
Material Design 3
In the same beta version, WhatsApp is also overhauling a number of its inner workings. The new style is known as Material Design 3, and it will debut with some newly revised settings and main menu buttons.
