    WhatsApp launches new Windows client

WhatsApp has just released a Windows client which ensures better performance, calling features, and multi-device sync for users.

WhatsApp’s app for windows has an interface similar to the mobile app. With the new updates, the web app loads faster and allows users to host group video calls with up to eight people and audio calls with up to 32 people.

The limits for group calls will continue to increase over time.

In addition to the new calling features, users will see faster device linking and better syncing across devices. Users can use one account over multiple devices, eventually allowing them to access WhatsApp even when their phone is switched off.

The instant messaging platform has also introduced the WhatsApp Beta experience for android tablets and MAC desktops which is currently in the early stages of beta.

WhatsApp’s an internationally available freeware, cross-platform, centralized instant messaging, and voice-over-IP service owned by US tech conglomerate Meta. It allows users to send text and voice messages, make voice and video calls, and share images, documents, user locations, and other content.

Moreover, WhatsApp’s client application runs on mobile devices and can have access from computers. The service requires a cellular mobile telephone number to sign up. In January 2018, WhatsApp released a standalone business app called WhatsApp Business which can communicate with the standard WhatsApp client.
