Islamabad, Pakistan – sAi Venture Capital and the Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) have formed a strategic partnership to propel Pakistan’s global position in advanced technology and engineering services. This collaboration aims to turn Pakistan into a leading global tech hub.
sAi Venture Capital has committed to raising and deploying up to $100 million, specifically targeting P@SHA’s member companies that focus on advanced engineering. This investment will help these companies scale internationally and expand their client base, particularly among global enterprises.
This partnership marks a significant evolution in sAi’s operational investment model, which has been driving growth in emerging markets for over two years. Initially, the model garnered limited attention, but its effectiveness in fostering sustainable growth in tech-driven sectors has since become evident.

Mr. Ahsan Jamil, Managing General Partner at sAi Venture Capital, expressed confidence in the model’s potential. “From the start, we believed this approach would create value for all stakeholders. Our journey over the past two years has reinforced that belief, and we are now prepared to scale up with this $100 million mandate,” he stated.
The announcement took place at the Digital Foreign Direct Investment (DFDI) Forum, organized by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). The forum brought together key stakeholders from the region to discuss ways to enhance digital investment and innovation.
sAi Venture Capital extended its gratitude to Sajjad Syed and the entire P@SHA team for their vision and commitment to this partnership. The firm also acknowledged Abu Bakar from PSEB, as well as Deemah AlYahya and Shaza Khawaja, for their leadership in promoting digital transformation across the region.
Additionally, sAi recognized the support of its General Partners, Sheraz J. Monnoo and Taha Naseem, whose guidance and dedication have been crucial to the firm’s success. “Their partnership has been invaluable—not only to me but also to the mission we’re pursuing as a firm,” said Mr. Jamil.
With this strategic alliance, sAi aims to accelerate the growth of Pakistan’s tech ecosystem. The firm remains committed to working closely with its portfolio companies, strategic partners, and advisors to strengthen the country’s presence in advanced engineering and enterprise technology on the global stage.
