A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Nokia and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has been signed to investigate cutting-edge ICT solutions for enterprises, governments, and cities across Pakistan.
This Memorandum of Understanding aims to foster cooperation, capitalize on the ICT market’s potential, and accelerate the digital transformation of businesses throughout Pakistan.
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, PTCL and Nokia will work together to develop a marketing strategy and go-to-market plan for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited solutions that combine Nokia goods and services, such as the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC), a platform for high-performance, end-to-end private wireless networking and edge computing.
“PTCL is the leading ICT services provider with a huge footprint across Pakistan,” said Zarrar Hasham Khan, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer, PTCL & Ufone. In Pakistan, PTCL is playing a crucial role in fostering digital transformation by addressing the demand for ICT sector collaboration.
“This will create synergies to change numerous industries across Pakistan, including healthcare, education, automotive, retail, energy & utilities, cities, and agriculture,” he continued. “All geographic areas will have cutting-edge ICT technology and a better future.”
