Islamabad – Pervaaz, a digital media campaign aimed at educating youth on safe migration practices, has earned praise from the European Union and the European Research Institute (ERI) for its impactful results in Pakistan. Co-funded by the EU under the SAFER project, the campaign is being implemented by Cirrus Pakistan.

This multi-faceted initiative successfully raises awareness about safe migration, empowering Pakistanis to explore sustainable income opportunities within the country. The campaign not only educates people on skills development and empowerment but also highlights the benefits of building a future in Pakistan. With a growing online presence under the handle “PervaazPK,” the initiative has gained substantial traction, attracting widespread support from youth and the general public.

Commenting on the success, Haris Naveed, Chief Operating Officer of Cirrus Pakistan, said, “The success of PervaazPK reflects our dedication to empowering young Pakistanis and offering safe, viable alternatives to irregular migration. By combining dynamic digital campaigns with on-ground sessions, we are helping shape a brighter future for the youth of this country.”

The campaign’s wide reach through digital media, along with radio and TV, has particularly resonated with younger audiences, sparking important discussions about staying in Pakistan and pursuing local opportunities instead of considering irregular migration.

“The PervaazPK initiative has shown significant impact, particularly among young men aged 18 to 30. Assessments reveal that 77.3% of participants are now reconsidering their plans for irregular migration,” Naveed added.

This online initiative complements in-person awareness sessions, reinforcing the project’s mission of empowering youth and encouraging them to rethink their futures within Pakistan.
