    Pakistan Export is Showing Massive Growth in 2022

    Pakistan’s export is showing massive growth in 2022. The country’s trade widened by 70.1percent (82 percent year-on-year other sources) during the first nine months (July-March) of this current year 2021-22, the Pakistans trade deficit soared to $32.393 billion.

    The export of Pakistan increased by 24.6 percent to $22.296 billion in the first nine months of the year 2021-22 compared to $18.688 billion during the same period 2020-21.

    The Imports were increased by 48.6 percent during the (July-March) of the current year. They increased to $57.693 billion as compared to $39.469 billion during the same period of the year, the PBS stated.

    According to the PBS, the country’s trade deficit widened by 5.4 percent on a yearly- basis, jumping from $3.257 billion in March 2021 to $3.448 billion in March 2022.

    The Imports registered an increase of 9.8 percent every year and increased from $5.631 billion in March 2021 to $6.186 billion in March 2022. Further, exports registered 15.7 percent growth every year and increased from $2.364 billion in March 2021 to $2.74 billion in March 2022.

     

    According to the PBS data report, the trade deficit widened and grew by 11.7 percent every month from $3.089 billion in February 2022 to $3.446 billion in March 2022.

     

    Imports increased by 4.7 percent every month and remained at $6.186 billion in March 2022 as compared to the past $5.907 billion in February 2022. The country’s exports declined by 2.8 percent every month in March 2022 and remained at $2.74 billion compared to $2.82 billion in February 2022.

    All the statistics generated are evident to conclude the Growth of Exports and Imports of Pakistan. Pakistan is looking forward to generating more revenue and progressing further by increasing its Export activities.Export of Pakistan
