The Department of Services and Administration has announced office timings for all institutions in the province during Ramadan. Offices and offices of employees working six days a week will open at 10 a.m. and close at 3 p.m., while offices working 5 days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work will be carried out by the Chief Secretary formally announced.
On Friday, all offices will close at 1 p.m., which will promote collective worship. The School Education Department (SED) and the Higher Education Department also announced working hours for schools and colleges across the province earlier in the week.
Single shift schools and colleges will be open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. As far as dual shift schools and colleges are concerned, the morning shift will start at 7:15 am.
The office timing will start from Monday to Thursday and will end at 11:15 am on Saturday. The evening shift will start at 11:30 a.m. Monday to Thursday and Saturday at 3:30 p.m., while the shift will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday. Opening and closing times will be 15 minutes earlier than the times mentioned above
It is also important for offices, schools, and colleges to ensure that masks and protection are provided and avoid eating and drinking in public while fasting.
