The Digital Youth Summit is an annual tech conference organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board. The tech conference and startup expo were first organized in 2014, it is carried out every year since then. The main objective behind the conference is to bring together digital innovators and focus on technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and tech for social innovation.
The Digital Youth Summit (DYS) takes place in Peshawar every year. Since then the DYS has become one of the leading tech conferences in Pakistan. The conference attracts high-profile speakers, both international and domestic who give their meaningful input in the conference.
Some of the prominent speakers include Muhammad Atif Khan (Minister for Food, Science, and Technology and Information Technology), Willian Bao Bean (General Partner at SOSV & Managing Director CA), Christopher Schroeder (Co-Founder and General Partner at Next Billion Ventures), Humayun Mazhar (Founder and CEO – CresVentures), Nick Bauer (Head of Public Policy for Malaysia and South Asia Frontier), Jehan Ara (Founder & CEO – Katalyst Labs), and many more.
