On Wednesday 9th march 2022 kamiyaab khatoon program was inaugurated by President Arif Alvi under the umbrella of Kamiyaab Naujawaan program. The inauguration was the key prospect of government support towards women rights and need of its protection. He advised the women to show their leadership skills to claim their rights guaranteed by Islam and the Constitution of Pakistan.
Kamiyab khatoon is the symbolic representation of successful and empowered women. No nation can achieve prosperity without empowering there women and guarantee them with basic human rights. Women needs to claim their rights by excelling in leadership role and making themselves strong and empowered to beat the social stereotypes.
President said with kamiyab khatoon program women could now approach the Ombudsman office or courts if their rights were usurped, as the government carried out necessary legislation to protect the women’s inheritance rights. President Alvi urged the women to benefit from the facility of opening bank accounts online through the relevant mobile App without visiting the bank, as it would empower them financially.
Referring to the government’s initiatives for skill development among women, the President said the women could take advantage of Information Technology and successfully run their own businesses without leaving their homes.
Kamiyaab khatoon highlights all the progress that have been made by Pakistan government to empower women and facilitate them so they can be financially independent and empowered.
