Horizon Worlds may now share images and videos directly to your tale on either platform thanks to its v108 upgrade. Additionally, Meta is testing a few changes to the service’s safe zone feature with the update.
As reported by TechCrunch in October, it was previously able to share material from Horizon Worlds to Reels, Instagram. However, you can now post Wii-level graphics from Horizon Worlds to Meta’s stories as well. A place where they can coexist with actual photos of vacations, meals, and outings.
According to Meta, the new story-sharing feature is initially only available to about 50% of Horizon Worlds users. But it will eventually be made available to all users over the course of this month. You can use the Media Gallery or Horizon Camera to access the sharing option.
The Horizon Worlds’ safe zone, a function that enables users to leave the VR social area when things grow heated and chaotic, is also being tested by Meta alongside it. The safe zone will display additional information about the user’s surroundings as part of the test. And will provide easier access to user profiles and other menus.
I predict that Meta will continue to work on improving the interoperability of its many services. Especially if it is successful in making Instagram users experience any FOMO over Horizon Worlds. Fundamental issues with the platform must be resolved before Horizon Worlds can reach its full potential.
