A ceremony conducted at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) in Rawalpindi marked the signing of two Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) between Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and DynaSys Networks (DynaSys).
Aamer Ejaz, Group Vice President, Carrier Services, PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Ali Akhtar, Founder and CEO, DynaSys Networks, shared leadership of the signing event. Senior representatives from both organizations, as well as the NASTP leadership, were present during the ceremony.
The Internet of Things (IoT) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) sets the technological foundation for integrating the IoT platform and end-user hardware from DynaSys with the cloud and cybersecurity systems from PTCL, along with wired as well as wireless transmission systems.
The end result would be a fully integrated, unique IoT solution that would be offered for sale to clients all across Pakistan. Both firms have reaffirmed their commitment to achieving their shared goal of becoming Pakistan’s largest IoT service provider with a minimum of one million live end-user subscriptions.
“We are thrilled to form a relationship with DynaSys to address the IoT and satcom demands of our business partners,” stated Aamer Ejaz, Group Vice President Carrier Services, PTCL & Ufone 4G, during the event.
The global leader in telecom, PTCL, is actively working to close the digital divide and improve people’s quality of life. Such collaborations will assist in achieving that goal by offering cost-effective, innovative solutions for even the most remote regions of the nation. It will make a substantial contribution to boosting the nation’s overall economic growth and corporate activity.
“The deal that DynaSys and PTCL formally signed today is a significant step toward making IoT a reality in Pakistan. The platform, which we have finally figured out, was up until this point the puzzle’s missing element. We will collaborate closely in the coming months to bring Pakistan’s first complete IoT service to life,” stated Ali Akhtar, founder and CEO of DynaSys Networks, at the event.
He further said, “In order to have a significant market presence, it makes reasonable that the expertise of the two firms would congregate in satellite communications. We’re making serious efforts to rule this territory in Pakistan and expand over the wider region.”
The MoU brings together PTCL’s substantial satellite communications infrastructure, the extensive history of communication services in Pakistan. And it also brings together the DynaSys’ broad technical and commercial knowledge.
Through this agreement, both businesses hope to gain a considerable amount of market share not just in the area as a whole but also in Pakistan. Where they hope to become the country’s top integrators and service providers of satellite communications systems.
