Dubai Opens Karachi Office to Strengthen Trade and Investment with Pakistan
Dubai has announced that the Dubai International Chamber has launched a new representative office in Karachi to boost trade and investment flows between Dubai and Pakistan.
The expansion is part of the emirate’s “Dubai Global” initiative, which aims to enhance Dubai’s international economic presence and forge stronger global partnerships.
According to Dubai government data, non-oil trade between Dubai and Pakistan reached 22.8 billion dirhams from January 2022 to September 2025. During the same period, the number of Pakistani companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce increased by 161%, rising to 33,110 active firms.
Officials say the new Karachi office will support Pakistani businesses seeking to enter or expand in the Dubai market, while also encouraging greater bilateral investment. Dubai authorities added that this step aligns with the emirate’s wider strategy to strengthen economic ties with major regional markets.
