Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited has partnered with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) to enhance its IT infrastructure through colocation services at PTCL’s Tier-III Data Center. Under the agreement, PTCL will deliver a secure, scalable, and state-of-the-art Data Center environment complete with advanced infrastructure, platform solutions, and managed security services.
The agreement was officially signed at Al Baraka Bank’s Head Office in Karachi. Representing the two organizations were Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL and Ufone 4G, and Muhammad Atif Hanif, Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Bank Pakistan Limited.
Senior executives from both sides attended the signing ceremony, including Shahid Sumar, Chief Information Officer, and Syed Muhammad Saqib, Head of IT Infrastructure at Al Baraka Bank. From PTCL, Basharat Qureshi, Group VP Enterprise; Sayyed Imran Bukhari, Group VP B2B Strategy; Saleem Ullah Baig, Group VP DC Ops; and Umar Farooqi, Group Director Enterprise, were present along with other key officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Asif Ahmad shared, “We are proud to support Al Baraka Bank in its digital transformation journey. As Pakistan’s national carrier, PTCL remains committed to helping forward-looking organizations leverage cutting-edge technologies to advance the national digital agenda.”
