Expanding Child Wellness Grants for Improved Healthcare
One of the key components of the project is the expansion of Child Wellness Grants (CWGs). These grants will be targeted at mothers, with the condition that they attend health awareness sessions. Families of eligible children will receive PKR 12,500 (approximately US$ 45) spread over five visits, to help alleviate the financial barriers associated with accessing healthcare services. The grants will support families in attending health awareness sessions. And monitoring the growth of their child, ensuring better healthcare outcomes.
One-Window Operation Model for Essential Service Delivery
Project supports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government in one-window operation for Citizen Facilitation Centers. These centers play a crucial role in delivering essential services to the local population. In addition to the Child Wellness Grants, the CFCs provide services such as registration of births, deaths. Furhtermore, provide services in marriages, divorces and family registrations. Approximately 560,000 individuals are expected to benefit from the services offered at the CFCs.
Smooth Transition and Continuity
Moreover, the project aims to ensure a smooth transition of the program to the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Helping in maintaining the continuity of activities already established with the support of the Federal Government. This initiative will bolster healthcare infrastructure. Moreover, ensure sustainable service delivery by building upon the existing 40 CFCs.
