Last month REDtone Digital services partnered with Multiple Esports Tournaments. This collaboration was a massive breakthrough that will help bring electronic gaming to Pakistan. RDS has now announced that they will be launching e-sports tournaments in Pakistan. The league tournaments will be carried out on PC and mobile applications for local players.

The Chief Executive REDtone, Mahnoor Nadeem, said in a statement:
“This is being started with a kick-off tournament in July. And I tell you the whole year’s calendar is very exciting”
She also added that there there are currently more than 50 million gaming fanatics who will gain the opportunity to become part of this tournament. She also added that the future of e-sports in Pakistan is growing at a very fast pace. Moreover, the youth of Pakistan are equipped with the ability to take part in local as well as global esports.
The KP government has also announced to open up esports academies and has assigned the task to two core departments.
“We look forward to forming alliances which will benefit the ecosystem as a whole, providing a global platform to showcase our community’s talent,” she also added
