The MENA Fintech Association, a non-profit organization that serves both startups and established players in the Middle East and Africa, has launched a new fintech marketing working group called “Bridge.”

Bridge will bring together industry experts, marketing professionals. It will also bring together the key stakeholders to strategize and implement creative marketing strategies. That will promote the growth and visibility of fintech businesses throughout the MENA region.

This working group will develop comprehensive marketing strategies, leverage digital channels, foster collaborations. Furthermore, organize educational events to support the development of the Middle East and Africa’s fintech ecosystem. Ultimately driving greater awareness and adoption of fintech solutions.

The group will also actively work to establish an effective community that bridges the divide between startups in the fintech sector. Established players, and regulatory bodies, ensuring that marketing strategies align with changing rules. While propelling the region’s fintech landscape toward long-term growth and global recognition.

Eric Fulwiler has been selected as the new working group’s chair. Since its inception in 2018, the MENA Fintech Association has established itself as one of the world’s top four fintech organizations.

The group, which has a strong presence throughout the Middle East and Africa. It has been in the forefront of driving innovation and fostering collaboration in the fintech industry.

Bridge aiming to “nurture the growth of fintech”
“Bridge marks an important turning point in our persistent commitment to strengthen the fintech landscape across the MENA region. This innovative working group represents a collaborative effort. To propel the industry forward through smart marketing competence.” said Nameer Khan, chairman of the MENA Fintech Association.

“I am passionate about fintech marketing and how it has evolved over the years,” Nadia Benaissa, head of business development at Paymentology and a board member of the MENA Fintech Association, said.

On top of that, she stated, “The job of the the head of marketing is important for startup and finance success; however, chief marketers working in a cutting-edge setting are frequently developing first-time encounters with no examples to look up to.”

“In addition, we market in a variety of cultural contexts that span the Middle East to Africa and beyond. Bridge strives to assist CMOs by providing a thriving atmosphere in which they may excel while gaining knowledge and exchanging crucial experiences with their colleagues,” she added.

Overcoming the gap between technical progress and effective communication

“I am thrilled to lead an initiative that embodies the essence of its name,” said Eric Fulwiler, co-founder and CEO of Rival and chair of Bridge. Bridge’s objective is to become the junction between the financial industry and the field of marketing, not only to pioneer novel marketing tactics.

“We want to build a collaborative ecosystem that connects rising startups, large corporations, and regulatory bodies.” This collaboration will guarantee the marketing activities not only increase exposure and acceptance. But this partnership also aligns with the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Marketing serves as a link between the worth of a product and the market’s needs. The company believes that marketing plays a critical role and sometimes misunderstood/overlooked role in fostering deliberate, long-term growth of fintech companies and the region as a whole.
