Kuickpay and Visa Launch BPSP Platform to Digitize B2B Payments in Pakistan

Karachi, Pakistan – Kuickpay has entered a strategic partnership with Visa, the global leader in digital payments, to roll out an innovative Business Payment Service Provider (BPSP) platform. This collaboration is set to revolutionize B2B payments and invoice financing across Pakistan.

With this new platform, Kuickpay and Visa aim to address long-standing challenges in the B2B payment space, such as restricted liquidity, low card acceptance among vendors, and the inefficiency of manual reconciliation processes. By digitizing and streamlining vendor payments, the platform enhances financial efficiency for businesses while unlocking new growth opportunities.

Now, companies can use Visa Commercial Cards to make direct payments into suppliers’ bank accounts, significantly reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). The platform also boosts card acceptance, allowing a wider network of vendors and SMEs to receive digital payments—thereby increasing flexibility and convenience. Additionally, the system features automated reconciliation and real-time invoice tracking, which simplifies financial workflows and cuts down on administrative tasks.

Speaking on the partnership, Syed Saqib Ali, CEO of Kuickpay, stated, “At Kuickpay, we’re focused on transforming the B2B financial landscape by eliminating inefficiencies that restrict business scalability. After thorough market research, we identified the key gaps in business payments. With Visa’s robust global infrastructure and our expertise in digital finance, we’re well-positioned to create sustainable impact for businesses in Pakistan.”

Umar S. Khan, Country Manager for Pakistan & Afghanistan at Visa, shared his perspective: “According to the State Bank of Pakistan, digital payment transactions crossed the 2 billion mark in the last quarter, now making up 89% of all retail payments. Despite this progress, most B2B payments are still conducted in cash and remain inefficient. By leveraging Kuickpay’s BPSP platform alongside Visa’s network, we’re enabling businesses to digitize vendor payments, free up working capital, and help SMEs thrive in today’s digital economy.”
