Google has officially launched Google Wallet in Pakistan, making digital transactions more convenient and secure. The service allows users to make online payments, in-app purchases, and contactless transactions using their mobile devices. This introduction is set to transform Pakistan’s digital payments ecosystem, offering a faster, safer, and more efficient way to pay.
How to Use Google Wallet in Pakistan
Setting up Google Wallet is simple. Download the Google Wallet app from the Google Play Store and log in. If you already have a compatible debit or credit card linked to your Google account, it will automatically appear in the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate contactless payments.
If you need to add a new card, tap “Add a card” at the top of the app’s carousel. After accepting the bank’s terms and conditions, complete the verification process. Once verified, your card will be tokenized and ready for use.

Google Wallet supports debit and credit cards from various top banks in Pakistan. You can use these cards for both in-person and online transactions wherever Google Pay is accepted.

Additional Features & Merchant Integration
Google Wallet isn’t just for payments. It also lets users store and access loyalty cards, boarding passes, and other digital essentials in one place. Soon, users will be able to shop with Google Pay at popular online stores like Onic, Gul Ahmed, Sana Safinaz, J., and KE through PayFast’s integration.
Travelers can also add boarding passes from airlines like Batik Air and Thai Airways, receiving real-time updates on departure times and gate changes.
