For Pakistani game developers who are worried about climate change, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Investment Promotion Activity (IPA) has established the “Green Alliance: Gaming Challenge Awards.”
The prize announced to game developers aims to support the creation of profit-making video games that promote sustainable climate-smart behaviors, promote climate mitigation. Furthermore motivating young people to safeguard the environment.
The awards also aim to encourage foreign direct investment and bilateral trade between the US and Pakistan. With a potential award financing range of up to Rs. 25 Million per award, the IPA is looking for award applications from game creators and pertinent firms registered in Pakistan.
All regions of Pakistan are eligible for the awards, and women-led/owned enterprises are encouraged to submit applications.
