    First “Made in Pakistan Exhibition” Showcases Over 80 Companies in Tashkent

    Government representatives from Pakistan and Uzbekistan engaged in productive discussions aimed at promoting trade and strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

    The inaugural “Made in Pakistan Exhibition” kicked off in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with the participation of over 80 Pakistani companies aiming to showcase Pakistani products, enhance bilateral trade, and establish enduring business partnerships. Organized by the Ministry of Commerce Pakistan, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Tashkent in cooperation with the Government of Uzbekistan, the exhibition runs until June 30, 2024.

    The “Made in Pakistan Exhibition” aligns with Pakistan’s Regional Connectivity Policy, facilitating collaboration between businessmen from Pakistan and Uzbekistan to explore trade opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.

    Gulamov Shokhrukh Khasanovich, Deputy Minister of Industry, Investment, and Trade of Uzbekistan, inaugurated the event, accompanied by Ambassador Ahmed Farooq of Pakistan, Federal Secretary of Commerce Ahsan Ali Mangi, and Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, CEO of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan.

    More than 80 Pakistani companies representing diverse sectors are showcasing their products at the exhibition, with approximately 750 B2B meetings conducted with local businesses. Moreover, attendees have expressed keen interest in Pakistani products, noting the impressive diversity and quality offered by Pakistani businesses.

    Furthermore, government representatives from Pakistan and Uzbekistan engaged in productive discussions aimed at promoting trade and strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
