The largest social media platform, Facebook, is being called out by users all over the world for its bias censorship laws. This is not the first time that Facebook has been in hot waters for censoring content. Evidence of bias censorship has been reported in the past as well. The platform is known to promote content that is of western interest. Moreover, Facebook deletes content that supports certain religious groups or communities.
Facebook users are complaining that their posts disappear. They are also notified that the content they posted did not adhere to ” Community Guidelines”. Facebook users all over the world have taken this issue on social media platforms and are demanding equal rights for people belonging to all communities, and religious groups.
To show their dissatisfaction, users have started to rate the application to 1-star on Google Play Store.
