The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) has recently assembled a varied group of thought leaders for the Second International Conference on Education (ICE) 2023.
With the theme “The Changing Education Landscape,” this year’s annual conference focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4). The goal is to shed light on the subject of Quality Education internationally.

Distinguished Guests at the Conference
Ms. Rana Hussain, Interim Education Minister of Sindh and a visionary in the field of education, was the distinguished Chief Guest at the event. Mr. Talib S. Karim, President of IoBM, was the Conference Patron for the event.
The multifarious perspectives from the diverse spectrum of speakers at the conference’s many sessions set the tone for a discourse that crosses boundaries. Furthermore, it also anticipates a future in Pakistan where schooling is more than simply a system. But it is also a catalyst for comprehensive societal development.
Notable Speakers
Professor Stefan Krummaker, a Professor of Leadership Practice; Deputy Vice-Principal (Education) and Member of the Department of People and Organizations at Queen Mary University of London, was one of the event’s keynote speakers. In addition, more spekaers inlcuded Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Dean, Faculty of Education, International Islamic University, Islamabad.This one-of-a-kind meeting of thought leaders broke with convention.
The theme “The Changing Education Landscape” in relation to SDG-4 of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals was more than simply another theme.
Ms. Rana Hussain, Interim Minister for Education, Sindh, noted at the conference, “Effective collaboration with educational institutions is critical for accomplishing our goals in ensuring inclusive quality education.”
“We believe that closing accountability and disparities in governance is crucial to effectively attaining Pakistan’s Right to Education and SDG-4 commitments. Particularly in Sindh, and we emphasize the essential elements of People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnerships for Sustainable Development,” he added.
“The acceptability of its graduates is the most important component of schooling. This Second International Conference on Education serves as an important forum. By bringing together the officials from both public and private sector institutes in a variety of enlightening sessions, enabling collaborative involvement,” said Dr. Tariq Soomro, Acting Rector of IoBM.
Moreover, the event aimed to pave the road for collaborative solutions. Also opened ways to new methods by bringing together a varied range of perspectives. It was more than just a conference. It was a communal exploration of possibilities and an incubator for game-changing ideas. With the potential to transform the educational landscape in the country.
The Department of Education of IoBM organized ICE 2023. Dr. Sarwat Nauman, Head of Department, and her colleagues were crucial in organizing the Conference.
