KARACHI: Easypaisa, Pakistan’s leading digital financial services provider, recently launched its innovative ‘easypaisakarobar’ ecosystem at events in Karachi and Lahore.
This platform aims to transform the banking and operational landscape for over two million retail merchants nationwide. It addresses inefficiencies and challenges prevalent in traditional retail value chains, according to a press release.
The events drew significant attention from fintech leaders, FMCG companies, distribution houses, and top executives from Telenor Bank and Easypaisa. Jahanzeb Khan, President and CEO of Telenor Microfinance Bank (TMB)/Easypaisa, inaugurated the Karachi event, highlighting the potential of fintech collaboration to drive financial inclusion in Pakistan. He emphasized that the easypaisakarobar ecosystem offers a win-win solution for FMCGs, retailers, distributors, and SMEs.

Developed in partnership with Dukan, a top e-commerce infrastructure provider, easypaisakarobar tackles key issues like cash handling and working capital. The platform received a positive response from attendees, who recognized its potential to boost operational efficiency and foster growth in the retail sector. By reducing operational costs, improving cash flows, and enhancing efficiency, easypaisakarobar is set to make a significant impact on Pakistan’s retail industry.
