15 January Lahore, Pakistan — 2026: Dr. Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (TI), one of Pakistan’s most influential education entrepreneurs and reformers, has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the Entrepreneur Awards 2026, held during Decode Lahore at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

The award — the highest honor of the evening — recognizes Dr. Faisal Mushtaq’s transformational entrepreneurial leadership in building globally benchmarked education institutions, driving large-scale public-sector education reform, and contributing to national policy and social impact at scale.
As Founder and Chief Executive of Roots Millennium Education Group, The Millennium Universal College (TMUC), Centre of Law and Security (CLAS), Change in Education Foundation, and Founder Trustee of Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship (MiTE), Dr. Mushtaq has built integrated platforms spanning education, research, technology, and entrepreneurship, serving learners across Pakistan and internationally.
Through the Change in Education Foundation, he has led the transformation of over 200 government schools across urban and rural Pakistan, implementing structured reforms in curriculum design, teacher training, assessment systems, student welfare, and gender equality in education — directly aligned with Pakistan’s commitments to the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
Beyond institutional entrepreneurship, Dr. Mushtaq has contributed to public policy and governance as Former Education Minister and Former Minister for Human Rights, Population & Social Welfare, Minorities, and Baitulmal in the Interim Government of Punjab. He currently serves as a Member of the National Curriculum Council of Pakistan, influencing education strategy at the federal level.
Internationally, his leadership has been recognized through his inclusion among the 500 Most Influential Muslims of the World for three consecutive years by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre, Jordan, and through an Honorary Doctorate in Education from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He is also a recipient of Pakistan’s National Civil Award, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, conferred for outstanding services to education, youth empowerment, and innovation .
