The company is playing its part in preventing climate change by taking certain initiatives that would help it do so. The past few months have been busy for the e-commerce giant – the company has partnered with a number of organizations that have the same values and are also working towards a sustainable ecosystem.

Daraz’s partnership with Robinhood Army helped to reduce the ethical binning of food. The partnership would help deliver the canceled orders for dFresh foods to those in need. The deliveries were carried out by the Robinhood army. Since the partnership, Daraz managed to deliver 1500 kgs of dFresh foods to those in need.Daraz is also working on initiatives to reduce the emissions of carbon, the recently launched solar panels in their Lahore warehouse which reduces carbon emissions by 104 metric tons!
More recently the company also shifted to 100% recyclable packing which will further help to reduce carbon emissions by a whopping 309 tons. Daraz is not only working on recycling, and reusing material they also launched their “Revitalize” initiative that is focused on the health of their employees. Distributing 1000 tree plantation seeds to their employees was another effort by Daraz to curb climate change in Pakistan.
