The AI-Based Career Counseling Portal was launched on Thursday by Syed Amin Ul Haque, the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication.

Aisha Humera Moriani, the Additional Secretary, and other senior Ministry of IT officers were present for the launching ceremony. Which was conducted in the ministry’s committee room.
The Pakistan Software Export Board created the platform with the intention of offering career guidance to IT professionals.

Aminul Haq said during the inauguration that “young individuals choosing the IT profession sometimes do not know which field is advantageous for them.”

He continued by saying that the site would make it simpler for young people to choose careers and locate work.

In partnership with Botnostic Solutions, the platform will use artificial intelligence to support job advising.

In Pakistan, people under 30 make up about two-thirds of the population. This young population is a great resource for Pakistan and has the potential to be priceless in the technological world.

The youth must be given thorough counseling because there aren’t many job counselors in urban regions and none at all in rural ones.

According to Aminul Haq, this initiative by the Pakistan Software Export Board, a unit of the Ministry of IT, is a link in the same chain. ”

We work to ensure that Pakistan receives a fair portion of the trillion-dollar global ICT market. Only when we are able to steer our youth in the proper direction can this dream come true.

Moreover, the local and worldwide IT industries will be able to discover qualified candidates through this platform. Pakistan exports information technology for 2.5 billion dollars; we must accomplish the goal of at least $15 billion, he continued.

Furthermore, to meet this goal, the ministry is aiming to offer broadband services and freelance training all around the nation.

According to him, Pakistan’s whole debt could be paid off, and the economy could be stabilized through the IT sector.

“It is crucial that each appropriate ministry fulfill its responsibility in addressing the issues facing the IT and telecom sectors. Amin continued, “If the ITV Telecom sector’s issues are resolved, that will also address the nation’s economic issues.
