Avanza Solutions has collaborated with CDRS Comprehensive Disaster Response Services to support the flood affectees.

Responding to the urgent need for aid and assistance in wake of devastating floods that have wreaked havoc across the country, and the government’s appeal to citizens to help their affected brethren, Avanza Solutions step up to minimize the after-effects of these natural disasters.

Millions of people have been displaced across Pakistan as we continue to suffer the effects of widespread floods that have ravaged a third of the country.

The government of Pakistan has declared the situation a “climate-inducted humanitarian crisis of epic proportions”. The scope of the floods is still unclear but over 30 million people have been left without shelter.

We’ve all experienced the harsh season of thunderstorms and heavy rainfalls. These drastic weather outcomes have caused a flood all over Pakistan and are worsening the economic, financial, and moral situation.

The flash flood has left many people stranded as it has destroyed over 400,000 houses and killed at least 1,000 people, including 200+children.

With thousands of livestock lost and over 200,000 people displaced, the government has declared a national emergency to provide food, shelter, clean drinking water, medicine and proper clothing to the affected population.

Considering the situation, Todd Shea, CEO & Salman Rafique, Director of Media & Communications, CDRS, addressed avanzians and plan the way forward in this noble cause.

The company calls for its countrymen to “Let’s join hands in this time of trouble and lend our hand to those in need.”
