In a groundbreaking development, a partnership has been forged to transform IT operations along Pakistan’s motorways. This collaboration aims to significantly boost the efficiency of One Network operations and road automation services, with IOTA Solutions playing a pivotal role in driving these advancements forward.
Distinguished representatives from both entities graced the signing ceremony, underscoring the importance of this strategic alliance.
Here are the key highlights of this partnership:
Managed Services Collaboration:
The agreement entails the establishment of a managed services framework through a Contract Signing. The partners intend to capitalize on the multi-tenant capabilities of the IOTA Solution portfolio to provide services to various customers through their centralized ITS Operations and Command Centre (OCC). To facilitate this, One Network upgrades its existing Unified Monitoring Solution, Trace9®, to version 4.0. This advanced platform facilitates comprehensive monitoring and response management across the entire IT infrastructure, covering physical, virtual, and hybrid environments. Furthermore, by embracing this digital transformation and harnessing technologies such as IoT, Automation, Machine Learning, and AI, One Network’s operations have evolved to become more proactive and efficient, leading to achieving zero downtime across the motorways.
Real-Time Monitoring & Ticketing with a Single Pane of Glass:
Trace9® monitors all critical services provided by One Network, including M-TAG Toll Collection, Road Surveillance, Video Tolling, and more. The underlying IT infrastructure is continuously monitored in real-time through a single pane of glass, empowering One Network to address potential issues proactively with improved efficiency.
Hassan Khan, CEO at IOTA Solutions, expressed his delight about partnering with ONPL on their digital transformation journey from inception. He emphasized that this partnership underscores the commitment of both organizations to shape the future of road infrastructure management through cutting-edge technology and proactive monitoring.
Fatima Anila, Head of Business (Network & Fintech Integrations), highlighted the adoption of Trace9®, enabling further enhancement of operations and the delivery of unparalleled service to motorway commuters in Pakistan with zero downtime 24/7 in the Toll Lanes. This advancement facilitated the introduction of Pakistan’s first ever human-less, fully automated M-Tag Express Lanes and seamless automated toll collection on the go, establishing a brand in the transportation market not only in Pakistan but also the region. Moreover, she further noted that the enhanced capabilities of Trace9® align perfectly with their vision for expansion and growth, enabling them to meet the dynamic demands of road automation.
