In conversation with Naveed Siraj, Country Manager, Dell Technologies Pakistan Private Limited.

    Q. Please tell us about your professional journey and what led you to your current role as Country Manager at Dell?

I’ve spent the last three decades building a career in an industry I’m deeply passionate about, and I’ve seen how powerfully technology can transform businesses and communities. That belief in technology as an enabler of growth, inclusion, and progress has stayed with me throughout my journey.

For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading Dell Technologies Pakistan, a role shaped by experience, strong relationships, and a customer-first mindset. I’ve always believed the best outcomes come from building trust, empowering teams, and creating real value for customers and partners.

Q.Having led Dell Technologies Pakistan for over a decade, what key changes have you seen in Pakistan’s technology landscape, and how has Dell adapted?

Over the past decade, Pakistan’s technology landscape has advanced rapidly, with stronger digital adoption across sectors such as banking, manufacturing, and healthcare. At the same time, there remains significant untapped potential, especially in the public sector, where technology can further improve citizen services and efficiency.

At Dell Technologies, we’ve adapted by focusing on practical outcomes and helping customers build secure, resilient digital foundations. We do this through trusted advisory, strong partner collaboration, and solutions that support data, cybersecurity, AI, and long-term transformation.

Q.Strategic partnerships and customer acquisition are central to your leadership role. What approaches have been most effective in building long-term business relationships in today’s competitive market?

What has worked best over the years is leading with trust and staying genuinely focused on customer success. In a competitive market, lasting relationships are built when customers know you will stand by them with consistency and integrity.

Equally important is investing in strong, capable teams who understand each customer’s priorities and challenges. That combination helps us become a trusted advisor and long-term partner, rather than simply a vendor.

    Q. As organizations accelerate their digital transformation journeys, what technology trends do you believe will have the greatest impact on businesses in Pakistan over the next few years?

I believe the biggest impact will come from AI and automation, hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, and better use of data. These trends will help businesses become more efficient, resilient, and responsive in a fast-changing environment.

In Pakistan, the greatest value will come from using technology to solve real challenges and improve outcomes for customers and communities. The organizations that succeed will be those that pair the right technology with trusted partnerships and clear business goals.

    Q. What leadership principles have guided your success, and what advice would you like to share with aspiring business and technology leaders?

Integrity, customer focus, and strong values have been the principles that have guided me throughout my journey. I believe leadership begins with doing the right thing, because trust is at the heart of every lasting relationship.

I’ve also learned that great teams are built by surrounding yourself with talented people who challenge, strengthen, and inspire one another. My advice to aspiring leaders is to stay grounded in ethics, keep customers at the center, and build a culture where people can grow and succeed together.
