2020, China and 6G Technology

First of all, I would like to thank all my readers, who always read my articles and anxiously waiting for my next article. My readers know that I always try to cover leadership, management, cloud, data center, technology, banking, and innovations related topics. In this article, I again came up with the new advancement or innovation in the field of Information Technology (IT).

In 2020, China is always on top of the news. At the beginning of 2020, China is on the news because of Coronavirus. Up till now around 52,479,614 total cases reported globally in which 1,290,465 deaths and 36,220,506 recovered.

All countries are now fighting with this virus and follow the steps of China in recovering from this virus who sustained very well on 86,299.

But, this time China again in the breaking news for his innovation in the field of Information Technology. As you all know I always try to highlight innovative projects in my articles such as Nokia Project, Microsoft Project, and Egypt Data Center Project. This time, China executes something big. 5G has not yet been operational globally, but China is advancing to 6G.

Yes, China has sent 13 satellites into space, including the world's first-ever 6G communications test satellite. China has reportedly become the world's first country to have successfully sent the 6G communications test satellite into orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the Shanxi Province.

The systems were put into orbit by a Long March-6 carrier rocket, which blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Site. Ten of Argentina's NewSat, Beihangxingsat-1, and Bayi 03 satellites were also on board, marking the first time that China's latest wave of carrier rockets had carried foreign satellites into orbit.

The 6G experimental satellite, named after the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, was built jointly by Chengdu Guoxing Aerospace Technology, UESTC, and Beijing MinoSpace Technology. It can be used to validate the efficiency of the 6G technologies in space as the 6G frequency band expands from the 5G millimeter wave frequency to the terahertz frequency.

The system is projected to be more than 100 times faster than 5G, allowing a lossless transfer in space to achieve long-distance connectivity with lower power output. The technology allows terahertz to be commonly used on the internet via satellite.

The satellite carries an optical remote sensing loading system for tracking crop hazards, preventing forest fires, managing forest supplies and monitoring water conservation and mountain floods, as well as delivering ample satellite images and data.

For the time being, there is no assurance that the tech being tested will make it the final norm. There are also concerns that 5G could be unsafe for humans, so it is fair to say that these fears may be strengthened by 6G technologies.

More than 215 scientists from 40 countries have urged the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to weigh health risks and environmental concerns before deploying a 5G infrastructure. And we can be confident that the same number of researchers, if not more, would have identical questions about 6G.

It’s too early to conclude something about this experiment. Hope that this project will give positive results and this will help in the future. They also should consider health issues and environmental issues such as extreme temperature, radiation, and space's vacuum. I’m waiting anxiously for the results or findings of this project

Now I turn it over to you. It's fascinating stuff, but is it a realistic concept worth pursuing?
